Martini is a brand of Italian vermouth, named after the Martini & Rossi. Martini has been a popular drink since its introduction in 1863. Alessandro Martini was the person responsible for the distribution of Martini to extends that only within 30 years of its release in the market it was available in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Greece, Portugal, Belgium, Egypt and other countries. An interesting fact about the company is that they sponsored two ‘Ladies Football World Championships’ in the year 1970 and 1971 which were independent of FIFA or any other soccer association. In 1992, the company merged with Bacardi and till date, it has been one of the most powerful spirit brands in the world.
