Hukum Lal Verma was born in 1970 in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. He was awarded an MFA by Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, in 1997. Hukum Lal has a penchant for his vibrant, abstract works, with arduous brush strokes and deep connotations.
